Delete your Mraya account
This page explains how to delete your Mraya account and what happens to your data. You can do it yourself from the app or the web dashboard — you do not need to contact us.
How to delete your account
From the Mraya Manager app
- 1Open the Mraya Manager app and sign in.
- 2Go to Settings.
- 3Under Account, tap Delete account.
- 4Read what will be removed, then confirm.
From the web dashboard
- 1Sign in to your Mraya dashboard.
- 2Go to Settings → Account.
- 3Read what will be removed, then confirm.
What happens next
If you are a team member
Your account is deleted straight away, along with your name, email address, phone number and sign-in history. The store you worked in is not affected.
If you are the only administrator of a store
Deleting your account closes the whole store, because nobody would be left to run it. The store stops working immediately, and its data is permanently deleted 30 days later.
You have 30 days to change your mind
During those 30 days you can sign in again and restore the store exactly as it was, from Settings → Account. After 30 days the data is deleted permanently and cannot be recovered by you or by us.
Deleted with the store
- Your account, sign-in and personal details
- The store itself, including its address on the web
- All products, categories and collections
- All customer accounts and their personal data
- Your storefront design, pages and images
- All staff accounts belonging to the store
Kept for a limited period
- Orders, invoices and tax records
- Payment records we are required by law to keep
Tax and accounting law requires us to keep these records for a set period after the transaction. They are not linked to a usable account, cannot be used to sign in, and are deleted once that period ends. Our privacy policy sets out the exact retention periods.
Cannot sign in?
If you have lost access to your account, email us from the address on the account and we will verify you and delete it for you. We answer within 30 days.
